Everest Base Camp, the world’s highest base camp is also a highlight on its own. It captures a fabulous image of giant mountains towering in the sky. If we are lucky, we might also get to see avalanches from the Everest Base Camp and various glaciers.
Since most of the trek lies within Sagarmatha National Park, we can see various wildlife like yak, musk deer, and snow leopard. The mountain region is mostly inhabited by sherpas which gives a wonderful opportunity to learn about their culture. We can indulge in their rituals, festivals, and language along with them. Furthermore, we get to chat with them in the campfire at night and taste their local and organic food.
